Turks and Caicos has an abundance of marine life so healthy that one can get just as much pleasure from snorkeling if diving is not your thing, it is not unusual for the visibility underwater to be in excess of 100ft. From small crustaceans like the Yellow Lined Arrow Crab and Banded Coral Shrimp to the larger species like the Hawksbill Turtle or the Spotted Eagle Ray, Turks and Caicos has it all.

The underwater topography of Turks and Caicos Islands could be described as a limestone pinnacle jutting up from the ocean floor. Geographically the island chain is much like a 6000 foot tower rising from the depths. When snorkeling the reefs, many are close to the surface, where in other areas you can swim in 45 feet of water and see the edge of the wall drop down to the abyss.
